Ashwood Care home provides high quality, personalised residential care to people with dementia, physical disabilities, mental health issues and in need of respite care.
The providers are health professionals with many years of experience in NHS and private health care. They are passionate about ensuring that the elderly in our society are well looked after. The main  ethos of Ashwood care home is to create a home away from home where the people could have a fulfilling life.
In 2018, a multimillion pound investment was made to extend and refurbish the entire home and bring it up to the most modern standards to ensure maximum comfort and safety for the residents. Ashwood is now constructed to provide choice and luxury in a homely environment devoid of corporate culture.

Medical Facilities

We are served by a GP surgery situated across the road from us. Our staff has excellent relationship with the Local GPs and district nurses to ensure that our residents get the best medical care when they need.

Food & Drinks

Our food is all prepared in house by our Chef who takes pride in understanding the needs and tastes of our residents. The food is prepared by locally sourced ingredients to fulfill the nutritional requirements of our residents.

Activities

We aim to keep our residents entertained by having a range of activities including live music, entertainers, dog visits, exercises, quizzes, arts & crafts, tombola, bingo etc. We encourage visits from local church choir and schools.
